This mix was originally not meant to be part of the Lomidhigh Mixtape serie when I first recorded it. It was shortly up for download but after I listened through it a few times I thought to myself “yeah …this is actually good enough for the Lomidhigh Mixtape serie”. Next step was the interview part… hmmm…I requested some questions from you lot and luckily I got some questions to answer… so here we go…

Jay Haze canvas for charity

We have 5 different canvas size 30cm x30cm sprayed with the stencil from the very first release by Jay Haze on Lomidhigh Lmtd in the colours – Brown (as the original vinyl release), Pink, Blue, Yellow and Red for sale with the Original Jay Haze sticker from the 10″ release on the back. They cost 40€ each + postage from Copenhagen, Denmark. All the money going into this will be given to “Association of Cancer Affected Children” in Denmark. www.cancerbarn.dk

“Every year 160 children in Denmark get cancer, whereof 45 will not survive the disease. These children have over the passed ten years been paid more and more attention, as many new treatments have been taking into use. Increased focus has also been connected to the importance of the well being of the children and many organisations have looked thoroughly into the problems of having children/teenagers hospitalised together with adult patients. We know that a good and well functioning live besides the hospital is of outmost importance for the children’s recovery.
The association for Children with Cancer is a non-political, humanitarian organisation, solely driven by volunteers. The work for the association consists primarily of creating activities for children with cancer and their families. Children with cancer are medically treated very intensively, which is causing significant weakening of their immune defense. Due to the risk of infections, the children cannot have normal activities amongst other children and adults.”

First real spring weather.

First bit of rough gardening this spring with my dad, if a chainsaw was included in every bit of gardening I would be better at watering my plants at home.. have a little home growing project in my window which so far is doing nicely.. recently my room turned into a botanic garden. What I also wanted to tell you with these pictures is that a new Lomidhigh label is on it’s way… and part of the label name is described with these two pictures.. well with a bit of fantasy it can be figured out.. the label will be fresh and funky, enough said… have a little patience.. and we’ll be there with something fresh …at least something is finally happening here in CPH.

“Into Eternity” is a documentary about nuclear waste in Finland I saw a few weeks ago that really got me thinking… since then even more hell has broken loose in various parts of our world.. the way the human race are acting with all their conflicts, greed, religious disagreements, capitalism, hunger, war and hate we´ll soon be heading for a self destruction – wondering if we´ll all be better to each other after a few ice-ages??

through a few years I was part of this art-collective with three great friends, we called ourselves “coupdetat”. two of us were taking pictures while the two others were painting pictures. of the four of us, three of us actually got into getting an education – one went to the design school, the other went to the architect school, the third is currently at the art school, while the forth got lost in techno. I’m still without an education, but happily work in a wood-kindergarten on weekdays (…well not at the moment as I’m off long term with a pretty serious illness). the 19th march is both the birthday of my very beloved brother and the first time I ever did anything with the name Lomidhigh, as in the different frequencies “LOW-MID-HIGH” (if you didn’t spot that one yet). 19/03/05 was a party/event I held at this small place in Copenhagen called Benutzbar. a few weeks before I sent out this small flyer to like 30 friends and cycled all around Copenhagen with the rest of them – even though there was a free entrance to this place I think I spent like 150€ on the actual flyer (have never been – and will never be a businessman). I remember this night as a good one even though I was a bit stressed about putting myself down as a DJ (6 years later and I still haven’t caught on to DJing, never got me too interested – prefer dancing). I want to thank everybody who has supported the label through the years and even though it´s been quite quiet in a long time, I’ll promise you something will happen within the next 3 months…
