“Into Eternity” is a documentary about nuclear waste in Finland I saw a few weeks ago that really got me thinking… since then even more hell has broken loose in various parts of our world.. the way the human race are acting with all their conflicts, greed, religious disagreements, capitalism, hunger, war and hate we´ll soon be heading for a self destruction – wondering if we´ll all be better to each other after a few ice-ages??

through a few years I was part of this art-collective with three great friends, we called ourselves “coupdetat”. two of us were taking pictures while the two others were painting pictures. of the four of us, three of us actually got into getting an education – one went to the design school, the other went to the architect school, the third is currently at the art school, while the forth got lost in techno. I’m still without an education, but happily work in a wood-kindergarten on weekdays (…well not at the moment as I’m off long term with a pretty serious illness). the 19th march is both the birthday of my very beloved brother and the first time I ever did anything with the name Lomidhigh, as in the different frequencies “LOW-MID-HIGH” (if you didn’t spot that one yet). 19/03/05 was a party/event I held at this small place in Copenhagen called Benutzbar. a few weeks before I sent out this small flyer to like 30 friends and cycled all around Copenhagen with the rest of them – even though there was a free entrance to this place I think I spent like 150€ on the actual flyer (have never been – and will never be a businessman). I remember this night as a good one even though I was a bit stressed about putting myself down as a DJ (6 years later and I still haven’t caught on to DJing, never got me too interested – prefer dancing). I want to thank everybody who has supported the label through the years and even though it´s been quite quiet in a long time, I’ll promise you something will happen within the next 3 months…

Importing cds into your computer

took me an hour to add like 10-13 old fav soul/hip hop albums from 92-02 into my computer ..as I want to pass them on to my 2 teenage sisters… what’s with the CD ? PAGERS and MINI DISCS will always be waaaay cooler…. unluckily the 2 favourite albums I wanted to add were both too scratched to import.. what a way to waste time!

its now official – spring hit Berlin, tomorrow Club der Visionäre will be opening for the coming season. In 2009 when K.atou did the first mix in the Lomidhigh Mixtape series I asked her what made this place so special..
I’m not even gonna ask you which club is your favourite club, everyone who knows you the slightest bit knows that Club der Visionaere is the place you are at – what makes this place so special to you ?

I’m in tears in a time where mother nature is flexing its muscles, blessings and inner strength to everyone who are effected by this tsunami hell. I’m deeply choked after the pictures I just saw.. and thought to myself .. here I am asking for the sun/spring to come out in CPH… while everything has gone completely and absolutely insane in another corner of our world!!!
